The Global Connections for Women Foundation (GC4W) hosts a Social Media Week NYC  event for the second time “Mobilizing for Social Impact: A GC4W Socializing Leadership in Millennials & Gen Y Panel” on Thursday, February 26th at 6pm on NYU Campus. In unison with the many movements being led by Gen Y and Millennials today, GC4W hopes this event will help the audience better understand how social media is key in fueling larger scale social projects, to maximize its reach and goals.

“Early indicators suggests that Millennials and Gen Y are vital in creating a better world for all. The purpose of this event is to engage their sense of curiosity and mobilize their energy to create agents of change using tools like social media and modern technology to make a real difference in the world. Participants will be exposed to early adopters of this notion – who are prepared to discuss how their organization’s global development projects are supported by unique social media and crowd funding initiatives, and the details of their 2015 humanitarian agendas.”
