This week, we are focusing on three important articles about women in leadership. The unique story of three powerful women including Indra Nooyi, Former CEO of Pepsi; Melania Edwards, HSBC executive, and Betelhem Dessie a leader for women who code, represent successful women who manage to balance family, personal, and work.

Indra Nooyi was PepsiCo’s first female chief executive and she boosted revenue 80% during her time there. Although she was extremely successful during her years as CEO, she had to balance family alongside this high demand job.

HSBC Executive, Melania Edwards, is also a powerful woman whose day ranges from morning meditation to meetings with tech companies to an evening stroll around her neighborhood.

Lastly, Betelhem Dessie is coordinating a number of nationwide programs run by robotics lab iCog. She also has four software programs copyrighted solely to her name – including an app developed for the Ethiopian government.
