DEAR FRIENDS & SUPPORTERS:
I am pleased to present the 2015 Annual Report of the Global Connections for Women Foundation (GC4W).
In the year 2015, we introduced several new programs, expanded others, and formed additional global partnerships – all designed to connect, educate and empower our communities. The Global Connections for Women Foundation was created as a direct response to the 3rd Goal of the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals – which is to promote gender equality and empower women. Since inception, the activities of GC4W has uplift women and been in the forefront of creating ways for women and youth to create new opportunities for themselves and their communities. We have impacted the lives of over 3.5 Million people globally.
We marked our 3rd anniversary in 2015, an organization that has quickly grown into one of the leading international non-profits of the millennium in the areas of Gender Equality, Women Empowerment and Youth Empowerment. We were also named the “2015 Best of Manhattan” Charity Organization from the Manhattan Award Program. We are truly grateful to God for all the accolades that have been presented to us for our global commitment, and for our ability to endeavor in such meaningful work.
The pages of this annual report are filled with our inspiring journey and evidence of why there is a great need for a “Global Connections for Women Foundation” in the world.
Our work would not be made possible without the generous support of our donors and sponsors, and I am deeply grateful to those of you who have contributed to our mission. I also invite all of you to visit http://issuu.com/globalconnectionsforwomenfoundation to learn more about our work, and to find ways to support our incredible mission – so that we may continue to touch more lives in 2016 and beyond.
