GC4W Honors Renu Hooda as Female Icon on International’s Women Day

Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world is the UN Women’s theme for this year’s international women’s day celebration. To celebrate the milestones of women in leadership on international women’s day, GC4W honors Stacy London, Kara Goldin, Senator Pat Spearman, Renu Hooda, Chelsea Miller, Fran Hauser, and April Franzino as GC4W Female Icons in Business and Social Leadership.

The Global Connections for Women Foundation (GC4W), an award-winning not-for-profit organization that believes in women and girls and their rights to create new opportunities for themselves and others. GC4W has celebrated international women’s day at the Harvard Club of New York City and the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. International Women’s Day celebrates women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements in the world. It also calls for action to accelerate gender parity, women’s achievements in the workplace and raise awareness about gender equality. We have honored Dr. Joyce Banda (Former President of Malawi), Congresswoman Barbara Lee, US Congress, Rebecca Minkoff (Renowned Fashion Designer), Chief Temitope Ajayi (African Business Female Icon), Paula Cole (Grammy Award-Winning Artist), and to name a few. We are pleased to announce our 2021 list of our Female Icons.

A Virtual Celebration of Women in Leadership and Female Icons. The GC4W International Women’s Day event is scheduled for Saturday, March 13th, 2021 starting at 11 am eastern standard time. CoachDiversity is the presenting sponsor of the GC4W International Women’s Day Event.
