Attend the Women Rising – A Conversation Around Art and Feminism

Women Rising is a session exploring how art intersects with feminism, and how we can use that art to create provocative content that pushes the narrative of gender equality and adds to the advocacy for human rights. This talk will explore the different tools available and discuss the power and impact storytelling can have in affecting social change.

This talk will be given by three strong feminists who work within the creative sector in Kenya. Uthoni Gathecha; a seasoned actor, motivational speaker, and psychologist, Wambui JL a Brand & Brainstorm Strategist, and Liz Kilili; a poet, writer, Chief Mechanic at Creatives Garage, mental health advocate and all-around creative.
