Since the pandemic, GC4W has committed to supporting a few students with scholarships to attend university. Last year, Josh Kenny was a recipient of the GC4W Scholarship.

This year, the Global Connections for Women Foundation would love your support with supporting the Scholarship Fund for Denise Francis, a current African American Graduate Student at NYU Gallatin School for Individualized Study. The Scholarship will allow her to complete her graduate studies at NYU. Denise was pursuing a Master’s in Self Love, Self Therapy, and the Black Mental Health Experience at NYU. Denise had to put her schooling on hold when she could not afford to keep going. We have the opportunity to make a significant difference in supporting Denise and her dream of completing her Master’s Degree at NYU.

Denise Francis needs scholarship support to complete her master’s education at NYU. Your charitable contributions — no matter how big or small will help her achieve her Master’s Program at NYU.

Can we count on your support? All donations are tax deductible.

About Denise Francis

Denise Francis is a vibrant and brilliant young lady who, at the age of 9, knew that her path would lead her to create a wellness program for underserved communities. She got admission to her dream school, NYU Gallatin School to pursue her Master’s degree in Wellness, and faced severe financial challenges, putting her dream of completion on hold.

Inspired by Denise’s story and circumstances, we created a scholarship fund to help her get to the finish line of completing her degree at NYU Gallatin School. We hope that our generous donors will give to our new scholarship fund.

The Self Love Organization is the Digital Wellness platform for Black Women to Heal. We make Wellness and therapy accessible by creating healing tools and experiences to heal black women. I am dedicated to changing the narrative of the “strong” Black woman to the “healed” Black woman. My work is focused on bridging the gap between Self Love and Mental Health with what I found lies between the two constructs, Self-Guided Therapy.
