The Lebanese singer just unveiled her new song — dedicated to all the strong and resilient women of the Arab world and her hometown: Beirut.
Fans of the Lebanese content creator and musician have been waiting patiently for this day to come…
As few days ago, in a post shared on Dana Hourani’s public instagram page, she writes, “This song is for every mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. For every man who acknowledges his heroine. And most of all, for the greatest goddess of all time, this is for her- my city Beuirt. I am, because she is. Love, Dana,” hinting that the release for her next song was just around the corner.
Now, she unveils her fourth single, ‘Enti Ana’ (I Am You): a tribute not only to the strength and resilience of the Lebanese capital, but also to the strong women within her life.
Last year Dana, who graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia’s May 2020 issue, made her debut as an indie musical artist as she released her first single ‘Ella Enta’ and its follow-up ‘Lahza’ garnering up to hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.
“I cannot sing ‘Enti Ana’ without thinking of my ultimate source of inspiration – my home, Beirut – which, for me, is the greatest and strongest woman of all,” she reveals.
Her debut album is also currently in the making and is expected to be released early in 2021.
