MANHATTAN April 23rd, 2021 — Global Connections for Women Foundation – GC4W has been selected for the 2021 Best of Manhattan Award in the Charity Organization category by the Manhattan Award Program.
“For the past 8 years, we have worked effortlessly to improve access for women and girls to feel connected, educated, and empowered. We are committed to this mission because of our global commitment to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. We are deeply honored for this recognition, for it is the encouragement we need to continue to do our best work for the people in New York and around the world” – Dr. Lilian Ajayi-Ore, Founder and CEO, Global Connections for Women Foundation.
Each year, the Manhattan Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small businesses through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Manhattan area a great place to live, work, and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2021 Manhattan Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Manhattan Award Program and data provided by third parties.
