Announcing the launch of #GC4WNEWS Campaign on GC4Women.org

The Global Connections for Women Foundation (GC4Women) recently marked its sixth anniversary, and we plan to leave a purposeful mark on this year. We are excited to announce that starting September 1st, 2018, GC4Women will launch a new campaign with #GC4WNews. This campaign was created in response to the need women have for a reliable news source that gives them more than just current news and information. GC4Women News is a place that people from all walks of life come when they need career guidance, leadership advice, and inspiration. We serve as a news aggregator for sites to curate key stories and share original news content.

As part of the #GC4WNews campaign, we have invited noted influencers, authors, and entrepreneurs including Summer Y.L., Joseph Lucido, Lana Pozhidaeva, Scarlett Hao,  Julia KanDenise Williams, Sana Akibu, and others as Guest Contributors on GC4Women.org/news. Their stories are meant to give our readers exclusive insights on their individual stories and career paths.

The last few years has been our most successful period with record numbers in site engagement and site visitors. GC4Women.org gained a YTD total of 320,718 users and 281,276 page views from various parts on the world including the United States, UK, China, India, to name a few.

“As the Global Connections for Women Foundation continues to reach greater heights, and we are grateful that the world continues to embrace our initiatives and projects,” said Lilian Ajayi-Ore, Founder & CEO, GC4Women.org.

At the center of this campaign lies the question, Where do you get your news? GC4Women is taking strides to be the answer to that question. With a reach of over 3.5 million people worldwide, GC4Women has quickly grown into one of the leading international non-profits of the millennium in the areas of gender equality, women empowerment, and youth empowerment. We are grateful to have been the recipient of the Best Manhattan Charity Organization for three consecutive years (2015-2017) and are working hard to make it four.

The previous launch of GC4W Top 100 Women in the World, an alphabetical list of inspiring women and global shapers from diverse professional disciplines, the #GC4W100 generated over 5.7 Million impressions and reached over 2.9 Million people worldwide. Additionally, we saw a +2,860% growth in social media site engagement. We anticipate that the #GC4WNews campaign will be met with similar success.

“GC4W News was a superb idea shared by the late Alvin Grant, Head of Web Development for the organization, who suggested that we can also connect, educate, and empower women and girls through the news. Now, GC4Women.org is one of the trusted destinations for news on women and society, women in leadership, health, and wellness. We are regular a feature on Google News,” adds Lilian Ajayi-Ore, Founder & CEO, GC4Women.org.

While a main concern of GC4Women is that women have a reliable and current news source, our mission goes deeper than that. As a non-profit organization, our primary agenda to continue to support women and girls around the world – and their right to create new opportunities for themselves and their communities. With the #GC4WNews campaign, our mission is to connect, educate and empower women and girls across the globe with an intimate news experience. We look forward to sharing our work with you and hope you will subscribe to our news channel on GC4Women.org.
