Graça Machel is a politician and activist in the Republic of Mozambique. Currently, Machel is the leader of The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and has contributed greatly to the political activities of the United Nations and Mozambique. As a heavy advocate for child and women rights, she formed the Graça Machel trust which helps impoverished women and children throughout Africa. Her goal is to provide an outlet and raise awareness for the wellbeing of youth and women worldwide.
