Breakout Session: Leveraging Your Communication Skills

Recognizing our own distinct personality, as well as that of others, can improve our day-to-day interactions. In this workshop, you’ll learn about True Colors™; a personality assessment used for understanding ourselves and others. Once we truly understand our special blend of True Colors, we can begin to practice more effective and competent communication.

Breakout Session: You’ve got this! Managing Stress and Mindfulness

It’s completely normal to experience stress as you navigate leadership roles, the college application process and your transition out of high school. It’s how you choose to respond to stress that impacts how you think, feel and act. In this session, you’ll explore the positive side of stress and learn some skills to further bolster your resiliency and confidence as a student and leader in times of change.

Creativity Workshop

Everyone is born creative. We all have the creative muscle, but like any muscle, without use it atrophies. Using exercises drawn from the world of improv comedy and creativity training tools and based on current thought on the nature of creativity, Professor Aylesworth will guide you to tone your curiosity, work out your imagination and strengthen your creative muscles.
