Global Connections for Women Foundation featured in Harvard Crimson Impact’s Nonprofit Board Recruiting Fair hosted by Harvard Club of New York.

The Global Connections for Women Foundation (GC4W), the international non-profit organization dedicated to connecting, educating and empowering women and young girls around the globe, took part in an exclusive Nonprofit Board Recruiting Fair hosted at the Harvard Club of New York on Monday, April 20th.The invitation only event coordinated by the Harvard Club of New York, Harvard Crimson Impact and Harvard University Alumni Association was intended to connect members of the prestigious alumni network of Harvard University who are interested in contributing their time and resources with leading nonprofit organizations.

GC4W was joined at the Recruiting Fair by a myriad of high profile, established charitable organizations across the spectrum of nonprofit focus areas including Harvard University Foundation, The Resolution Project, Elevacao Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, Children’s Museum of Manhattan to name a few.

GC4W was among the popular destinations within Harvard Hall for alumni looking to pay it forward as the mission and programs of the young nonprofit founded by Harvard graduate Lilian O. Ajayi resonated strongly with attendees looking to promote gender equality and make a difference in the lives of others.

GC4W at Harvard Crimson ImpactWith over 400 registered members of the Harvard University alumni community attending the Nonprofit Board Recruiting Fair, opportunities abounded for the legion of corporate leaders, authors, entrepreneurs and other remarkable individuals to identify a cause where their passion, interest and talents could be leveraged to help those in need.

Recent events such as the successful GC4W International Women’s Day Awards Gala at the Library of Congress in Washington DC and new high-impact initiatives such as the GC4W Global Educational Fund for Disabled Girls and  GC4W Dream Job Project significantly increased the interest in and demand for GC4W Board positions and volunteer opportunities among the noteworthy attendees.

With a goal to enrich the lives of 100,000 thousand women and girls, the Global Connections for Women Foundation has quickly grown into one of the leading international non-profits of the millennium in the areas of gender equality and women empowerment.
