The Global Connections for Women Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that believes in all women and girls – and their right to create new opportunities for themselves and their communities. The Global Connections for Women Foundation is the recipient of the 2015 Best of Manhattan Charity Organization (New York, USA).
Inspired by the real-life examples and our ongoing global commitment, women and girls in underserved communities around the world will be encouraged to find their voice, and equipped with the resources they need to feel connected, educated and empowered.
GC4W was created in response to the 3rd Goal of the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) as documented by the United Nations and in reaction to the collective outcry of women and girls in underserved communities around the world. The 3rd goal of the MDGs aims to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women, which is at the core of all that GC4W strives to do and aims to become.
In doing so, GC4W’s mission is to create a path to success for women and girls in underserved communities around the world who seek it, regardless of their background, nationality or societal status.
Our Global Commitment:
The Global Connections for Women foundation (GC4W) is committed to connecting, educating and empowering 100 thousand women and youth around the world by the end of 2015, which is strategically aligned to support the Post-2015 UN Millennium Development Goals and Sustainable Development Agenda.
