Caulipower Enters Restaurants, Going From The Freezer Aisle To Marcos Pizza

CAULIPOWER is expanding out of the freezer aisle into Marco’s Pizza. The better for you pizza is going to the official cauliflower crust at over 1,100 Marco’s giving fans the same flavors they know and love – including Marco’s three fresh signature cheeses, and variety of fresh and premium toppings while sticking to healthier habits. Marco’s will be the first national QSR pizza brand to offer a CAULIPOWER Cauliflower Crust as part of its standard menu offering.
“The number one reason Marco’s chose CAULIPOWER was its great tasting product. We evaluated several different cauliflower crusts and this was by far the best-tasting, delivering the best bake for our product. In addition, the number one ingredient is cauliflower and there are no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives in the crust, so we felt good about serving this to our customers. Lastly, CAULIPOWER was a great cultural fit for Marco’s Pizza, as a company aligned with our people-first cultural beliefs,” shared Megan Thomas VP, Brand Marketing and Head of the Women’s Network at Marco’s Pizza.
Gail Becker, founder of CAULIPOWER, is most excited about the brand entering its first everQSR chain. While CAULIPOWER has been on the menu of over 5,000 restaurants this will be its first foray into national fast-food service. “When I launched the company in 2017 and set out to disrupt the frozen food aisle, it was important to me to ensure that some of our products were also available in restaurants. Finding food for my two gluten-free sons out of the home was hard as I knew it was for others. In 2022, I just don’t think people should have to choose between taste, nutrition and convenience. What excites me most about this partnership is that now even more people will discover they don’t have to!” exclaimed Becker.
CAULIPOWER has seen double-digit growth over the first half of the year with their chicken tenders reaching the number two growth driver in the better-for-you chicken tenders category. They also just launched White Pizza for the first time. “Our latest pizza innovation is our White Pizza, the first of its’ kind on a Cauliflower Crust. Not only is it many on our team’s favorite pizza flavor yet, but the meme on the box is pretty sure to make many consumers smile. It’s currently available at retailers like Meijer and Shoprite, and will be nationwide at Walmart in the fall,” added Becker.
The growth of CAULIPOWER’s product expansion and entrance into Marco’s shows the push for consumers wanting to have healthier fast food options. Which at the core is Becker’s mission through the company. Offering consumers their favorite meals without having to sacrifice their health.
