GC4W Entrepreneurship Program Cohort 2 Concludes at The Wing

The Global Connections for Women Foundation (GC4W) created the GC4W Entrepreneurship Program to support founders in transforming their business and developing their business ideas. The 12 entrepreneurs of our second cohort embarked on their educational journey as the program guided them through engaging in-person lessons.

The second cohort of the program, which was held at The Wing, included students from different countries across the world. Each student brought his/her own unique perspective to the class, creating interesting discussions and great networking opportunities. This diverse group of entrepreneurs included both female founders and equality allies in business.

As a keynote speaker, New York City Small Business Commissioner Gregg Bishop joined the program as well. During our Risk Assessments & Capital Structures module, Commissioner Bishop provided insight into the small business services available to female entrepreneurs.

GC4W – created to connect, educate, and empower – hosts this program for founders who are at any place in their entrepreneurial journey. With esteemed faculty, business coaches, and fellow founders, students learned business strategies, key entrepreneurship concepts, leadership skills, and success tips along with various lessons that could be implemented in the building of their own company.

By the end of the program, students were more than pleased with the knowledge provided and the confidence instilled in them from the course. Not only did they join an inclusive and empowering network of business leaders at GC4W, but they also took a step toward building the successful company of their dreams.

Entrepreneurs who successfully complete the GC4W 5-day intensive program and other entrepreneurs who are interested in developing their leadership skills and transforming their business are invited to apply to participate in the GC4W Advanced Program for Entrepreneurs. These programs are a part of the GC4W University Programs which aim to increase access to quality education for female founders worldwide – one program at a time.
